Oscillations of difference equations with non-monotone retarded arguments
Keyword: Difference equation Non-monotone argument Retarded argument Oscillatory solutions Nonoscillatory solutions Consider the first-order retarded difference equation DxðnÞ þ pðnÞx sðnÞ ð Þ 1⁄4 0; n 2 N0 where ðpðnÞÞnP0 is a sequence of nonnegative real numbers, and ðsðnÞÞnP0 is a sequence of integers such that sðnÞ 6 n 1, n P 0; and limn!1 sðnÞ 1⁄4 1. Under the assumption that the retarded ...

For the equation where LnV(t) + a(t)h(y(o(t))) f(t) LnY(t) Pn(t) (Pn_l (t) (..-(Pl(t) (P0(t)y(t)) ’) .) ’) sufficient conditions have been found for all of its solutions to be oscillatory. The conditions found also lead to growth estimates for tle nonoscillatory solutions.
متن کاملDifferential equations with several deviating arguments: Sturmian comparison method in oscillation theory, II
We study the oscillation of solutions to the differential equation ẋ(t) + a1(t)x[r(t)] + a2(t)x[p(t)] = 0, t ≥ t0 which has a retarded argument r(t) and an advanced argument p(t). We obtain oscillation and non-oscillation conditions which are closed to be necessary. We provide examples to show that our results are best possible and compare them with known results.

where f ∈ C(J ×R×R,R) and α∈ C(J , J) (e.g., αmay be defined by α(t)=√t, T ≥ 1 or α(t)= 0.7t, t ∈ J). Moreover, r and γ are fixed real numbers. Differential equations with deviated arguments arise in a variety of areas of biological, physical, and engineering applications, see, for example, [9, Chapter 2]. The monotone iterative method is useful to obtain approximate solutions of nonlinear diff...
متن کاملMild Solutions for Non-autonomous Impulsive Semi-linear Differential Equations with Iterated Deviating Arguments
In this work, we consider an impulsive non-autonomous semilinear equation with iterated deviating arguments in a Banach space. We establish the existence and uniqueness of a mild solution. Also we present an example that illustrates our main result.
